Working with Ajith is Blast Always - Trisha
Actress Trisha roughs it out in Ranthambore for an encounter with the magnificent animal…
Trisha is having a ball. After completing work on her Telugu film Teen Maar with Pawan Kalyan, she took off on a vacation that was long overdue. Along with her best buddies, costume designer Sabina Khan and Hema, the actress headed on a wildlife trip to Ranthambore.
In an exclusive to TOI, Trisha, speaking from Ranthambore, says, “I’m a wildlife enthusiast and love going on treks. It was always my dream to see the most magnificent animal on the planet, the tiger, in its natural surroundings.” Trisha stayed in a luxury tent deep inside the forest and was able to spot the elusive tiger in its natural environment.
Adds Trisha, “It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The best part was that after waiting for three days and many hours, we were able to see a tiger just metres away from our jeep! I was able to take some great pictures of the animal. It was a completely different holiday; peaceful and quiet.”
Meanwhile, the actress has signed up to do Bodyguard in Telugu opposite superstar Venkatesh. The film is a remake of the Malayalam original (Bodyguard) which had Nayanthara in the lead. Interestingly, the film was made in Tamil as Kaavalan, with Asin playing the heroine, and is now being shot in Hindi with Kareena Kapoor in the lead.
An excited Trisha says, “Yes, I have signed Bodyguard in Telugu. It’ll start rolling from April 14 in Hyderabad. I’m pretty excited about it and will be watching the Malayalam and Tamil versions to get an idea about firming up my look for the film.” The actress has a few more projects lined up for the rest of the year and had recently made news when she replaced Asin in a fairness cream commercial.
Trisha will join Ajith and the unit of Mankatha by the end of this week in Mumbai. Concludes the actress, “Working with Ajith is always a blast. I freaked out on his biriyanis! It is my final schedule for the film and I will surely miss Venkat and rest of the unit once shoot gets done.”
