Ajith, as many of us know, is a man with a big heart. And he has proved this again and again, by coming forward to lend a warm hand to those in need of help.

Sampath, who has worked with Ajith in his last venture 'Aasal' (he was there in 'Thirupathi' too), narrates one such incident that happened during the shoot of the movie in France.

"One day, Sameera wanted to leave for India and she was waiting for a cab driver to reach the airport. But the driver did not turn up and the check in time was nearing. Ajith, who noticed this, voluntarily took a car and dropped the actress," Sampath told IndiaGlitz.

He added: "I was also there in the car accompanying Ajith and Sameera. The actor, who is a racer, drove the car in a smooth and suave way. After dropping her at the airport, he called her mother in India and informed the details of the flight she took. Such a nice man is Ajith."

Today we have a information from Sun Pictures, They have released the Names of Theaters releasing Enthiran Movie in Chennai, which includes Satyam (3), Devi (2), Express Cinemas (3), Inox (2), Abirami (4), Sangam (2), Albert (2), Udhayam (3), Kamala (2), PVR (5), IDreams, Maharani and few others. These theaters were under Chennai Limit.

Ajith To Make A Style Statement In Mankatha

Venkat Prabhu is all excited about his highly-anticipated film Mankatha with Ajith which is going on the floors from October 20 in Hyderabad.
The young filmmaker, who has an out-of-the-box approach to his narrative style, opens up about Mankatha in an exclusive interview to DC.
He starts the conversation with, “Ajith sir gave me a big hug after he heard the final script and it was really heartwarming.” It’s heard that Ajith will be sporting an interesting new look in Mankatha. The director responds, “I discussed his ‘look’ and styling with him at length recently. He called me closer and said, ‘You leave it to me. From today, you are not meeting me till the first day of our shooting!’“I am confident,” he continues, “That he will spring a surprise and come up with his own style statement.”
Refuting rumours that the movie is a gangster film, he explains, “Mankatha is a game of probabilities. Similarly, here, it’s about different people trying to do something and how the equation changes with one particular thing. So there will be lots of unexpected twists and turns. Though it’s a high-voltage action movie with a darker shade to it, there is no violence.”
People say it has been inspired by a Hollywood film. “Oh no! It is my own unadulterated, original script and our own ‘desi’ story, the kind which is actually happening all over the country. The movie, which begins in Hyderabad with Ajith and Trisha, will be shot extensively within India in Bengaluru, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai.”
And where will the romantic songs be shot? “It does have a mature, lively romance, but there are no clichéd dream song sequences. We are not going to shoot abroad at all.” There are no CG effects either. According to him it will be a live action, realistic film. He confirms that Neetu Chandra is not a part of the project. Ask him about Trisha’s ‘look’ in the film and he grins. “Trisha is already beautiful. She will be a surprise factor in the flick.”

Ajith-Trisha in ‘Mankatha’

‘Mankatha’ is springing up more surprises as days are going by. The Venkat Prabhu – Ajith film has already crated a sensation with its first official trailer.

Now the star cast assembling for film is going to put all jaws down. ‘Mankatha’ is going to be the real multi-starrer after many years. So in keeping the sprits high Venkat Prabhu has brought together Ajith, Nagarjuna, Lakshmi Rai, Premji Amaran, Ganesh Venkatraman, debutant Mahat.

Now the latest addition to ‘Mankatha’ is Trisha. Sources say there are a few other big names confirmed for the film and they will be revealed soon. The pre-production work of ‘Mankatha’ is almost complete and Venkat Prabhu may roll the camera anytime from now. The film will have 6 songs and two of them are complete and ready.

Being the 50th film Ajith, most of Ajith’s favourite friends in the industry are doing cameos in ‘Mankatha’. Will Silambarasan also be there? Wait for the moment.

Another thing our sources said was that the role swapping by Ajith and Nagarjuna in Tamil and Telugu version is not happening and the two big stars will play the same role in both the version. It is also categorically said ‘Mankatha’ will not be dubbed in Telugu and a separate independent version will be shot with the same rich cast.

Expectations on Ajith's 50th flick Mankatha is rising up after the teaser, which was released on August 20th. Already Neetu Chandra and Lakshmi Rai gave interviews that they are part of the project which is to be directed by Venkat Prabhu.
But still, Director Venkat Prabhu said that the heroine of Mankatha was not finalized and it will get finalized this week. And we are now getting confirmed reports that Trisha Krishnan is pairing with Ajith Kumar in Mankatha. This is the third time she is pairing with Ajith. Jacqueline Fernandez, the Sri Lankan beauty queen who set Bollywood on fire with her debut film Aladin, which co-starred biggies like Amitabh Bachchan, is all set to sizzle in Kollywood.
According to sources, the actress who hails from the island nation of Sri Lanka, will make her debut with the most handsome hero of the south — Ajith Kumar, in his upcoming gangster film, Mankatha.
The movie, directed by Venkat Prabhu, also features Nagarjuna in an important role with grey shades. Reportedly, the film is being made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu, with Jacqueline playing the female lead in both Tamil and Telugu versions. Talks are still on with her.
Actor Manchu Manoj will share screen space with the two lead actors. Yuvan Shankar Raja composes the music and Shakthi Saravanan is behind the camera. Produced by Dayanidhi Alagiri of Cloud Nine Movies, a slick pre-shoot trailer of Mankatha with Ajith was released recently and was a huge hit among his fans.

‘Siruthai’ to roar from December

Karthi, who is riding high on a success wave, will have his next release, ‘Siruthai’, in December. The film, directed by Tollywood filmmaker Shiva, is a remake of Telugu blockbuster ‘Vikramarkudu’, say sources in the know. “Shiva has earlier directed films like ‘Souryam’ and ‘Sankham’. His Kollywood debut will be ‘Siruthai’, which has Tamannah opposite Karthi. Comedy portion will be taken care of by Santhanam”, they say. After a gap, music composer Vidyasagar is back on ‘track’ with this film, which is being cinematographed by Velraj and edited by Anthony. K E Gnanavelraja of Studio Green is producing ‘Siruthai’ on a big budget. “After completing some important portions in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, the film’s unit will soon leave for foreign locales to can songs and crucial scenes. It will be a full length commercial entertainer”, add sources.

FICUS acquires ‘Endhiran’ USA Rights

Endhiran - Gallery FICUS, the leader in overseas distribution has acquired the USA theatrical rights of both Telugu and Tamil versions of Superstar Rajinikanth's ‘Endhiran’. Acknowledging Sun Pictures for the opportunity given to them, FICUS thank Kalanidhi Maran and Hansraj Saxena for giving them this opportunity to work on their prestigious project ‘Endhiran’. Shankar's futuristic film ‘Endhiran: The Robot’ will be a real science-fiction in Tamil/Telugu after many decades. It is also going to be the biggest Indian film ever made not just in terms of the money spent on production but also on the line up cast and crew assembled for the film. Besides Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai in the lead roles other major stars in the film include Danny Denzongpa, Santhanam and Kalabavan Mani. The technical crew of ‘Endhiran’ is hand picked by Shankar from all over the world comprising the best of the world. Oscar Winner AR Rahman, Hollywood stunt director Yuen Woo Ping who designed action scenes for films like The Matrix, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, etc, Animatronics studio Stan Winston Studios which handled visual effects for iconic films like Aliens, Terminator 2 and Jurassic Park, etc. Industrial Light & Magic that handled the special effects for films like Avatar, Star Wars, and Titanic worked on visual and special effects.
